I recommend getting a foot roller/massager as well to complete this…but you can use the detachable pillow…I would just be concerned about putting too much pressure on the pillow to avoid burning up the motor.

This is a great massage and heat mat. The best feature of the mat is that the neck pillow can be completely detached, and used on other body parts separately. I like to use it on my lumbar region. It’s nice and soft and gives a perfect back massage, even though it’s designed as a neck massager.
